Marc LaPierre
Founder & CEOMarc built Seen after spending years on both sides of the hiring table. He worked his way up in the kitchen as a chef, working in James Beard award-winning kitchens, and as the managing partner of a restaurant and nightclub in Cabo San Lucas. Later, he launched Clock'd Staffing, personally helping hundreds of restaurants, bars, and hotels hire thousands of people across the country.
He's felt the pressure of a short-staffed shift, the sting of a no-show, and the stress of hiring the wrong person. Seen is the product of those hard-earned lessons—built to help restaurant owners hire better, faster, and with less stress.
OUR MISSION
Leo
Co-Founder & CTOLeo brings over a decade of experience in software development, including deep expertise in hiring platforms and recruiting technology. But he's not just a developer—he's a restaurant guy too.
While building tech, Leo also ran a catering company and ghost kitchen in Spain. He understands firsthand how brutal hospitality operations can be, and how broken most hiring systems are. He rebuilt Seen 2.0 from the ground up with one goal: make a platform that actually works for people running food businesses.
Together, we're not just building hiring software—we're fixing a broken system we know from the inside out.
